Zero Waste Europe (ZWE) is a membership organization bringing together 31 national-level alliances and NGOs in Europe working towards the same vision: phasing out waste from our society. They empower communities to redesign their relationship with resources, to adopt smarter lifestyles and sustainable patterns, and to think circularly.
ZWE is one of the core members of Break Free From Plastic (BFFP) in Europe. The size and influence of ZWE has been growing as the plastics work grew in size and the circular economy agenda gained prominence. With the support of Plastic Solutions Fund, ZWE aims to internally restructure the organization in order to future-proof it and allow it to increase the impact of the BFFP movement.
