Enhancing post-disaster Relief and Recovery of Zero Waste Partner Communities Affected by Typhoon Rai

The EcoWaste Coalition is a national network of more than 150 public interest groups pursuing sustainable and just solutions to waste, climate change and chemical issues in the Philippines.

The project, with Plastic Solutions Fund support, aims to support the immediate post-disaster relief and socio-economic recovery of partnering zero waste communities that were affected by Typhoon Rai.

It aims to provide immediate relief and enhance the capacity of the typhoon survivors to immediately access basic social services and recover lost livelihood activities. Priority for support are families of informal waste workers and frontline communities fighting against plastic pollution in Cebu and Bohol.
