Retailers: masters of distraction in the plastic crisis

With Plastic Solutions Fund support, this project aims to expose the inconsistencies in retailers’ positions on plastic in different markets across Europe and to reduce retailers’ opposition to ambitious implementation of EU or national legal initiatives. As well, it seeks improving disclosure practices of plastic packaging by European retailers, and encouraging them to report comparable and relevant data.

This will then lead to more ambitious policies, commitments and concrete measures on behalf of the retailers.

Collaborators include Sciaena (Portugal), Retorna (Spain), No Plastic In My Sea (France), Zero Waste Kiel (Germany), Voice (Ireland) and Zero Waste Ukraine (Ukraine)
