Plastic Solutions Fund is supporting the creation of a strong, coordinated German NGO alliance that can become a driver of systemic change towards a true circular economy. They will be guided by 15 core demands — prioritizing reduction, reuse, and toxic-free materials.
Working together, the alliance will be able to counter the plastics industry and get at the forefront of the dialogue with policy-makers. This will allow them to hold the German government accountable to live up to its key role within the EU and become a frontrunner regarding plastic related policies — thus shaping legislative processes all over Europe.
Collaborators on the project include the German Marine Litter Association, Environmental Action Germany, Health and Environment Justice Support, Women Engage for a Common Future
