This project is designed to reduce plastic waste in China by addressing the systems and industries that are currently responsible for the brunt of China’s plastic pollution. The project will raise awareness about disposable plastic packaging in China’s retail and fast-moving consumer goods industries, reducing the use of plastic in these fields by exposing the unsustainability of the “throwaway” lifestyle. This project is managed and implemented by four partners: World Wildlife Fund US, WWF China, China Zero Waste Alliance, and Plastic Free China.
